  • Abstract
    This paper describes a new technique to feed slot antennas[1]. Conventional feeding structures lie in the same plane as the slot and therefore any RF front-ends that supply the slot may have only little space in array antennas. The presented feeding is placed orthogonally to the slot so that arbitrary arrays can be designed. Further the RF front-end is only created once and can simply be reused. After a short introduction we discuss the new design, present simulation results and proof these results by measurements.
