Abstract :
This paper proposes the new structure of optical demultiplexer by modification of an optical ring resonator with fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and optical amplifier (OA). We have theoretically investigated the transmission characteristic of this new structure. The results are useful for selecting the wavelength and reducing the pedestal pulses in DWDM demultiplexer
