Abstract :
Domain decomposition (DD) methods provide highly parallel iterative solution alternatives for partial differential equation techniques. Like most iterative solvers, convergence and robustness are at the center of current research. This paper outlines a methodology for faster and more robust DD solver through a local physics-based preconditioning of the interface problem.
