Abstract :
This article described the basic principles and main steps of factor analysis, at the same time, used this method to make a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of economic development of the top ten counties in Jiangsu Province. It overcomes the deficiencies of traditional multi-index comprehensive evaluation method in dealing with high correlation between indicators and weight setting, and confirms that it is successful to apply factor analysis into county economic evaluation.
