Abstract :
This paper analyses the technology spillover effects and its relationship with independent innovation from the point view of knowledge evolution. The result indicates technology spillover is the most important channel for an organization to acquire the technical knowledge for the technical follower. The absorptive capability, independent R&D investment and stuff makings are the most important affective elements for acquiring the technology spillover. The technology spillover effects affect the independent R&D motivation by monopolization, demand, technological opportunity of knowledge. The technology spillover effects can benefit the learning ability, knowledge innovative ability, knowledge sharing ability and knowledge integration ability of an enterprise, which can help to form the independent innovation capability.
