Abstract :
The usefulness to use in the applications required in industry of a digital instrumentation based on micro electromagnetic relays (MER) instead than on integrated semiconductor components is illustrated. The basic logic components, AND, OR, NOT, XOR, NAND, NOR, STORE, based on the Boolean algebra, and the voltage-frequency converter (VFC) are also illustrated. A prototype of a VFC has been designed and constructed. Test results on this prototype are presented and shortly discussed. Further work is still in progress in the design and construction of a prototype of a meter for double-tariff by induction watthour through MER
