The author examines the history and technological advance of EMC measurement, with particular reference to the Post Office Radio Service and the evolution into the Radiocommunications Agency of the DTI. The topics covered include the use of early receiving equipment within the Radio Service and its subsequent development. Further discussion postulates on future trends as a direct result of technological developments
