Abstract
This paper presents a multibeam array to increase the capacity of mobile communications and to improve the QoS. Two attractive features, the suitable beam width and the appreciable increase of the capacity, are obtained for perfect and nonperfect beam control. The simulation shows that the cell can be covered by an arbitrary number of beams if the matching network is feasible. By the system-level simulation, the capacity is approximately proportional to the number of the beams in the single cell model
