Abstract
The authors describe initial work undertaken to characterise, from an EMC point of view, the RF environment in highly cluttered industrial site environments where a large number of radio systems may be present. The initial work involves bringing together existing methods and implementing these methods in an efficient manner on a personal computer. Further work involving calibration of the model against data from various measured environments is outlined
