Abstract :
The authors define the functions which are supported in an electrical load forecasting system. They show how existing algorithms and techniques have been integrated into a comprehensive product, which includes a supporting database and graphics-based human computer interface. This product is aimed at the specific needs of the industry and may be regarded as a first step towards a total energy management facility
