Abstract :
The analysis of the emittivity of a chirally shielded cable is presented. An E-polarized cylindrical wave, coming from the centre of the cylinder, incides onto the chiral medium resetting in a coupling between TMz and TEz waves. The analytical expression of the shielding effectiveness in order to evaluate the emittivity has been derived and validated by numerical simulations
