Abstract :
With the advancement of computing the arena of software development life cycle and its traditional software architectural models are moving towards more flexible and agile techniques. Service oriented architecture is one of the modern architecture techniques which are composed of loosely coupled and flexible software components called services. Service oriented architecture supports usability, scalability and flexibility and each of these have their own implementation complexities. In this paper the focus is on those factors that affect service oriented architecture design and implementation. Authors aim to do a literature review for factors effecting service oriented architecture. The factors that have been identified earlier in service oriented architecture implementation are accumulated in this paper. The factors effecting service oriented architecture are categorized with a help of a proposed model. The proposed model can be used as a guideline for the SOA projects according to size of organization.
