Abstract
An accurate and numerically efficient solution based on analytical regularization is developed for the scalar wave diffraction problem for an arbitrary shaped open screen of revolution. The Dirichlet boundary condition is considered. The new method combines universality of the surface integral equation approach with the efficacy of the regularization technique for canonical boundary value problems.
