Abstract
In this article, we discuss the audio or noise limits for telecommunication audio equipment and how to perform the test for it. Audio equipment always has some problems when it accepts a disturbance from outside, for example: there is noise when a telephone is disturbed by electromagnetic waves. So we must do audio evaluation in an immunity test. For the transient disturbance test, it is not easy to say which audio volume is suitable, because the noise or audio level will be very high during the EFT, surges, ESD etc. The audio evaluation is only performed in a continuous immunity test. In this article, we describe how to do audio test in RF electromagnetic field and RF common mode immunity test
