The determination of the cost savings in economic dispatch calculations by improving the accuracy of the input data

The economic dispatch problem is considered. In online applications, the optimality of the results obtained from these economic dispatch calculations depends on the inaccuracies of the input data, e.g. on the inaccuracies of the incremental cost curves, of the line impedances, of the transformer turns ratios, etc. A proposal is made for the determination of the cost savings when the accuracy of this input data is improved
