Abstract :
A thermal wattmeter with direct AC power to DC voltage conversion is described. A three-terminal thermoconverter (TTTC) is used for AC/DC power substitution. The TTTC enables simultaneous application of mutually independent current and voltage into the same heater and this way to force phantom power dissipation in this heater. The dissipated AC power is substituted by DC power in a self-balancing thermal bridge circuit.<>
