Abstract :
Construction of particle accelerators with large numbers of superconducting RF cavities requires that adequate facilities be available to perform efficient cryogenic cavity testing. A closed-cycle helium cryogenic system supplying multiple vertical test cryostats has been constructed at CEBAF (Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility). System design, instrumentation, and control features permit secure automated filling, cooldown to <2 K, and fast warm-up. The operational characteristics of the system are presented.<>
