Abstract
In this paper, we investigate a Quasi-Orthogonal Space-Time Block Coded (QO-STBC) protocol with relay selection in the eight-user cooperative communication environment. The QO-STBC coded protocol could provide a full rate and a full diversity to cooperative communications. Computer simulation results show that QO-STBC coded protocol yields 3-dB lower probability of error compared with a conventional decode- and-forward protocol.
