Abstract
The dispersion characteristics of coupled cavity waveguides formed by a chain of point defects on two-dimensional photonic crystals are theoretically investigated. The method used is a semi-analytical technique based on a combination of the lattice sums, T-matrix, and the generalized reflection matrices for the scattered space harmonic fields.
