    Knowledge map is a core technology and an effective tool in knowledge management. The searching function of knowledge map can help the users find what they need in short time. The article argues the problem of knowledge map designing through building knowledge management network in the matrix organization, and discusses the conception and function of knowledge map. Finally, it is pointed out that to partition knowledge domain is very important in conforming the knowledge level and the relationship between each other. The article also discusses the process of designing knowledge map. In conclusion, knowledge map provides the environment for create sharing and applying the knowledge and it is essential in knowledge management.
