Abstract :
A fully automatic, computer-controlled site performance evaluation technique has been developed. This technique is capable of calibrating test sites for radiated emission testing of actual equipment. An important advantage of the technique is that calibrations are not limited to fields of dipole antennas, as in the concept of normalized site attenuation. The calibrations are carried out using field distributions which are equivalent to those generated by actual equipment under test. Thus, the new technique offers a significant improvement over previous methods, which utilize electric or spherical dipoles only
