Abstract :
Manufacturing Process planning fluctuates in time and space. Process planning is a relationship between engineering portrayal drawings and the ending manufacturing. In this research work the under examine production setup is automotive manufacturing industry in the developing country Pakistan. An elemental process plan is initially developed for a part considering all design specifications and is based on the initial base study that was formalized in my recent work on Linear Process planning modeling and its optimization. All the processes and activities are included in the planning and their time for manufacturing is considered for selection of time variables is incorporated in the model. Then developed Process plan is modeled mathematically using progressive closed convex constraint approach. Convex analysis is performed on the function and its constraints. The linear mathematical model form the basis for application of further optimization techniques for finding the optimal solution of the assembly line and optimal line balancing.
