Abstract :
Atmospheric aerosols are solid or liquid particles suspended in air that have great impact on the global climate and the health of living beings [6]. Due to the size of these particles, one effective way to study them is by remote sensing instruments. The present work will display collected data of atmospheric aerosols located in the geographical area of Chapala, Jalisco, using sun photometers information. It will also relate the amounts and properties of aerosols with the lake´s damage. This will allow us to test and propose a sustainable and economic strategy to combat the eutrophication of Chapala Lake, using phytoremediation with tobacco plant.
