Abstract :
In this article, the theory of computer vision was applied to the issue of node localization in wireless multimedia sensor networks, and a new distributed locating algorithm based monocular vision was proposed. Based on directional sensing model of the camera and the pinhole imaging model, sensor node was located on a two-dimension plane, using simple geometric transformations of monocular machine vision with the third-dimensional information-the height of node, and the orientation of unknown node was determined using the inter-observation information between nodes. Then, the collaboration mechanism among multi-node was discussed. Finally, the simulation and analysis results verified the high accuracy and strong robust of the algorithm.
