Abstract :
Sixty students from the secondary school participated in a comparison study conducted to examine the effects of attention drawing techniques (framing, masking, zooming and agent) on recall performance in studying from a multimedia presentation. Results showed that there were significant differences among groups. The groups of masking, framing and agent attention drawing techniques could produce better recall performance than the control group. The result suggests that the basic technique such as framing sufficiently draws students´ attention to the multimedia presentation.
