Abstract :
We introduce Filippov automata which are based on Filippov´s theory (1988) of dynamical systems governed by piecewise smooth vector fields. We develop some of the global and generic aspects of the dynamics of Filippov automata. In particular, we establish a generic structural stability theorem for two dimensional Filippov automata, which is a natural generalization of Peixoto´s (1960) classic result
