Abstract :
Periodic broadcast has been considered for the deployment of video on demand services due to its scalability. However, most of existing protocols do not take into consideration the bandwidth limitation at the client. In this paper, a technique for designing protocols for limited-bandwidth clients is presented. Moreover, a novel protocol based on the polyharmonic broadcasting protocol for users with bandwidth constrains is proposed
