Abstract :
For the wide area surveillance various ip-based sensors should collaborate to understand the situation. It consists of transferring of huge multimedia data as well as feature data recognized. Cognitive multi-agent systems on sensors retrieve and classify features extracted from images and videos. To enable collaborative reasoning between agents on sensors, interoperable sensor data deployment scheme is required. We build a hierarchical data deployment infrastructure and caching data proactively with sibling nodes of the same parent and the parent node to use network bandwidth efficiently. Efficient interoperable data deployment provides the main concepts and properties to model a hierarchical surveillance network which can span a university campus or a city. We define data deployment procedures and policies to improve the efficiency for the wide area surveillance.
