Abstract
In this paper we present a characterization of an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) backscattering channel in indoor environment, for passive RFID systems. Two different measurement campaigns are presented. From measurements results a UWB backscattering channel model, relative to the antenna mode, and a UWB clutter model have been derived.
