Abstract :
The paper presents the parametrization of all stabilizing two-degree-of-freedom (2 DOF) controllers for (possibly unstable) processes with dead-time. The parametrization is based on the derived state-space formulae for the double coprime factorization of deadtime systems. Furthermore, the (sub-)ideal disturbance response is studied. The proposed method is applied to integral processes with dead-time to obtain sub-ideal disturbance response
