Abstract :
In this paper, two adaptive observers are designed for fault identification of linear systems. The first observer is based on optimal design such that the estimation error of the fault is minimized. The second observer can achieve asymptotic fault estimation. Simulation of sensor fault diagnosis for an induction motor is presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method
