Research on a Single-Period and Two-Level Supply Chain Coordination under Uncertain Demand and Delay in Payment

The supply chain coordination is the core of supply chain management. This paper researches on supply chain coordination under uncertain demand and delay in Payments and establish specific mathematical model that apply to a specific two-level supply chain that consists of one supplier and one retailer. Finally, a numerical example verifies the validity of the model. The result show that the strategy of delay in payments can improve the whole supply chain benefits and the reasonable sharing contract could further contribute to the integration of the supply chain. With that the whole supply chain could maximize the profits and achieve win-win objectives.
