  • Abstract
The basic problem of the simulation and modeling of image intensified charge coupled device (ICCD) is the difference between measured optical transfer function (OTF) and hypothetical data. Comparing the other sub-OTFs of the ICCD¿s OTF, the OTF of the image intensified tube (IIT) observed as a main factor of this deviation. In our study, a regulation factor for IIT OTF has been developed. A commonly used OTF formulation of IIT has been modified with a regulation factor which helped OTF formulation of the night vision sight (NVS) device produced more precise results. The results obtained through the formulation are compared with the experimental results and the proposed formulation yields OTF within 3% of the experimental results on average, while old formulation yields approximately 29,5 % difference OTF and because of that the Formula given by Gerald C.Holst (1996) isn¿t fit for ICCD simulation .
