Abstract :
We described an EPC (electronic power conditioner) developped for French Telecom administration for an 12 GHz 20 W TWTA (Travelling wave tube amplifier). ??? EPC1 requirements are submitted and the electrical design which used MC2 (currentcontrol- modulator) control is described with associated results. An simulation model is proposed. Particular technological points such High-voltage transformer, hybrid module and other particular EPC Technological are described. Some particulars interfacing problems given by the TWT such current cathode regulation and switching behaviour will be presented.
