Abstract :
The process of repairing the specific area in the video is known as video inpainting. The goal of video inpainting is to remove unwanted object from a video and reconstruct the video. Many methods have been developed for video inpainting. This paper introduces survey on following video inpainting techniques 1) Exemplar based method 2) Partial differential equation (PDE) based method 3) Object based method 4) Texture synthesis based method 5) Patch-based method. Features and limitations of various methods are explained using recent papers. Comparisons of various inpainting techniques are discussed.
