Abstract :
In this paper, blind equalization based on third-order cumulant is applied to the equalization of linear time-invariant (LTI) and nonminimum phase (NMP) channels. The transmitted sequences are considered as 4-level and 8-level PAM. In this algorithm, first the channel impulse response is estimated and then the estimated channel is used to construct a linear mean-square equalizer
