Abstract :
The compact multi-band circular polarized antenna is on high demand in Global Navigation Satellite Systems. This paper presents a novel design of a stacked patch circular polarized antenna for triple band GPS/Galileo application. The proposed antenna has achieved a minimum axial ratio of 0.48dB with a broad beamwidth of 175° necessary for multiband operation in GPS and Galileo systems.
