Abstract :
According to the characteristics of gray image, the histogram specification algorithm based on 3-spline interpolation was introduced in this article, which obtained enhancement in continuous casting sheet billet image. The experimental results indicate that such improved method has better outcomes than the traditional one, especially when it is used to process poor quality continuous casting images. The comparative experimental analysis of the improved histogram specification algorithm and the traditional histogram specification algorithm based on Gaussian probability density function (Gaussian PDF) examines and certifies the effectiveness and anti-interference of the modified algorithm.
