Abstract :
The paper presents a new system for recognizing train license plates. The system mostly researches contourlet transform for restoring and denoising images of train plates by high-speed camera. It can finish recognizing the images of train license plates under complex environment. This paper analyses four restoration methods of the license images and compares them in recognition rate in different classification ways.
