Abstract
Today big differences in specifications for hybrid automobiles exist. Due to the fact, that there is no reliable approach for evaluation of efficiency of different hybrid alternatives, there is no uniform procedure of car manufacturer industry. In the presented paper, an analysis of the technical and economical parameters as well as an estimation of the potential for increasing efficiency by various hybrid alternatives is being carried out. "Hybrid" in this context refers to a system consisting of an internal combustion engine and an electrical machine
