Abstract
Coupled-line sections have many uses in microwave circuit design. Their uses as simple couplers and complex filter structures is well known. This paper discusses the basic characteristics of the coupled line section and its use in straightforward but seldom used applications. Starting from standard lumped prototype filters, the design process for a two-section filter is detailed. Analytical and measured results are given
