Abstract :
In this study, we compare the messless finite element method (FEM) with conventional FEM for solving the ECG forward problem. The present simulation results are encouraging, illustrating the benefits and limitations of the meshless FEM approach using only node information, and suggest that the meshless FEM approach could merit further investigations.
