Abstract :
Consumer products have at their core several features that are crucial to their success. First they are designed to deliver an easily understood application - both the salesperson and the customer can quickly grasp what the product does and why someone might want it. Second, they are readily available - you can find them at all major retail outlets. Third they provide instant gratification typically within minutes of opening the box, they are doing at least some of the things they were bought to do. And last, the instructions are simple to understand when, as a last resort, the consumer reads them to find out what else they can do with it
