Abstract :
A single switch high step-up dc-dc converter with voltage gain extension cell is introduced in this paper. The voltage multiplier cell enables another controllable and flexible freedom to obtain large and wide voltage conversion ratio. The converter achieves zero current switching (ZCS) of diodes leading to negligible reverse-recovery losses. Furthermore, the closed loop control of converter enhances line regulation. The analysis is done using PSIM. The results prove that the introduced high step-up converter is feasible for high gain applications.
