Abstract
Recently, we have developed equations that in principle give the exact activity distribution from half-knowledge of the data function in single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). These differential equations which describe the evolution of "variable" sinograms are manipulated into an integral form that is amenible to basis expansion.
