Abstract

Information Resource Management (IRM) is one of the key factors for the company to success. Information system is the important way of IRM, but the phenomena of low-return and high failure rate still exist, and the utilization rate of Information Resource is still relatively low. Information System Audit (ISA), through a comprehensive audit of the system and its application, could improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IRM to a certain extent. In this paper, it is introduced of the generation, development and the main contents of ISA. Then, from the perspective of ISA, the status quo of IRM is analyzed. Aiming at dealing with the problems, the solutions of using theories of ISA to improve the IRM are discussed.
