Abstract
Compact wideband 10 Gbit/s optical transmitter and receiver circuit packs are realized on a highly thermo-conductive board and appropriately designed small function block modules that employ multi-chip package technology and resonant cavity mode damping technology. The circuit pack size is 200/spl times/280/spl times/15.24 mm and the power consumption of each circuit pack is about 20 W.<>
