Abstract
The channel model of power line is presented on the network of a distribution system with power line communication. The most meaningful characteristics of this medium consider on noise, attenuation, impedance and phase shift. The channel model consists of two factors, noise and attenuation model. Each modeling approach is shown. The simulation of frequency characteristic on power line communication channel is also presented. The modulation frequency on the simulation is used from 100 kHz to 300 kHz. The effect of signal by noise and attenuation is discussed.
