  • Abstract
To research distribution and light scattering characteristics of aerosol particles in evaporation duct environment, from Mie scattering theory, laser scattering characteristics of a single aerosol particles was simulated, and the detection experiment to aerosol particles group of different radius was conducted by using the laser radar with wavelength of 1.06 μm. Results through analysis: the smaller the aerosol radius is, the smaller the difference between its forward scatter and backscatter will be; along with the increase of radius, the absolute value of backscatter strength gradually increase, especially in the direction of scattering angle θ = 180°, the strength increases more obviously. The research content can provide reference for using laser technology to detect atmosphere duct.
