Abstract :
The general sum-connectivity index of a graph G is defined as Xa(G) = uv∈(G)Σ (du + dv) α where du (or dν ) denotes the degree of vertex u (or V ) in G , E(G) denotes the edge set of G , and Of is a real number. This paper outlines the results up to now on this problem. Additionally, the formula for calculating the general sum- connectivity index of polyomino chains and suggestions for further research are given.
